Containers

The terminal does one job with containers: it moves them. You scan the container, scan the cell it is going to, and confirm. The container goes with everything inside it.

Where to find it

Container Movements in the menu. The screen opens on the movement list for your warehouse and carries a scanner button — scanning a container code takes you straight to its transfer screen.

So the same menu entry serves both purposes: reading what has happened to containers, and moving one.

What the terminal cannot do

Handing a container to a carrier is a client-app job. The terminal moves containers to cells.

Not the same as moving goods

Moving a container moves the container itself, with its contents unchanged. Taking goods out of a cell and putting them into a container — or the other way round — is a different job with its own documents: see Relocation.
