Shipment statuses

A shipment is the record of goods actually leaving the warehouse — the fact behind a delivery plan (or a self-pickup order). Shipments are recorded on the handheld terminal as goods are loaded; on the client the Shipment list is a monitoring view of those records. Status labels match what the operator sees on screen.

Draft (DRAFT)

The shipment has been recorded but not yet confirmed — it is not posted and stock has not changed yet. It becomes Confirmed once confirmed.

Confirmed (CONFIRMED)

The shipment is posted: the goods have been issued from the warehouse and stock has been reduced accordingly. This is the normal state of a recorded shipment.

Cancelled (CANCELLED)

The shipment was reversed and no longer counts: any stock it issued is restored. Terminal.
